IPGSM-COM Honeywell’s IPGSM-COM delivers secure, reliable fire alarm communications via the Honeywell’s Alarmnet network. Connected via the dialer output of our fire alarm panels, this unit eliminates the need for phone lines, replacing them with internet and cellular communications paths that connect to Alarmnet. Our exclusive, triple-path communications solution combines Internet service with GSM for added reliability and an extra level of security. This unique GSM radio technology utilizes GPRS service for alarm communications and automatically switches to SMS for alarms if GPRS is unavailable. Utilizing 256-bit AES encryption, these signals will pass securely through public communications pathways. Through the Internet or cellular radio, the IPGSM-COM offers full Contact ID data reporting with any of today’s fire alarm control panels.
